PRICING INFO
My sliding scale pricing is $175-260/hour, including sales tax.
I do my booking via a platform called Venue, which will collect a $100 or $150 deposit + 10% booking fee to secure your appointment.
Your final payment can be made a few ways:
Cash reigns supreme, with no fees taken out of what you hand me <3 Consider bringing a partial cash payment if you are unsure how much cash to bring.
Digital currency is convenient for us both, which is why I offer multiple ways to pay digitally.
I can invoice you through Venue, which allows for credit card, Apple Pay, and after pay options. In Venue, since I have to send a specific number, I bill at $200/hour + taxes and fees, with a fully optional tip.
Fees:
Venue: Adds onto your charge Sales Tax (10.35%), Stripe fee (4%), and a platform fee (3%).
For Venmo and PayPal, taxes and fees are considered included in the amount you send me. I then calculate out what portion of your payment is sales tax.
Venmo takes a fee from what you send me of 1.9%+ $0.10.
PayPal takes 2.29%+ $0.10.
EXAMPLE:
If I invoice you for $550 in Venue, you will be charged $56 tax, $24 stripe fee, and $16 platform fee, and I will receive the full $550.
If you send me $550 in Venmo, I will receive ~$540, which I then take sales tax out of.
If you send me $550 in PayPal, I will receive ~$537 which I then take sales tax out of.
In addition to sales tax, costs associated with my practice are: liability insurance, studio rent, supply costs, artist and shop licenses, city tax, and business licensing. I generally take home about 50% of what you pay me.
